Culinary activities

Food and drink
There is an abundance of restaurants for every budget and taste within walking distance of the holiday home. It is very cosy to dine on the promenade overlooking the sea.

If you do not want to cook yourself there is also takeaway and there are plenty of lounge bars, cafés and snackbars.
Try the local dish once: fresh fish with Canarian

potatoes with mojo sauces.
For more exclusive dining, try the restaurants at the Marina Rubicon, a 15 minute walk.

For a unique experience: La Era restaurant in nearby Yaiza, which was designed by architect Cesar Manrique, serves typical Canarian cuisine in a farm-like setting.

And in the fishing village of El Golfo, you can have lunch by the raging sea.

La Geria is the wine region of Lanzarote.

The vines grow in small hollows in lava and ash. These thousands of little craters catch the dew and protect the vines against the east wind. Most wine is made from the Malvasia grape variety.

Visit one of the Bodegas (wineries) and participate in a tasting with tapas. Red (tinto) or white (blanco) Bermejo are the best wines of Lanzarote. Finish your visit with a walk through the vineyards.
